Positive: The hostess was very welcoming and prepared a delicious full Irish Breakfast to order in the morning. She gave us some great recommendations of places to visit in the area.

Negative: The bathroom was lacking a shelf or somewhere to put one's toiletry bag or tooth brush etc.. also the mirror was small and poorly lit making it impossible for my partner to shave. The provision of some kind of hand soap would have been appreciated.

Positive: Ardsallagh Lodge is a beautiful b&b,John and Ann are fantastic hosts,so friendly and welcoming.Our room was fab,so spacious,comfortable bed,spotless with a stunning seaview,also had a lovely free standing bath 🥰 breakfast was nice with good coffee and homemade muffins and scones 😋😋 will definitely return,thank you John and Ann ❤

Positive: It's just off the main Cork-Dungarvan road but elevated enough to have great views of Youghal bay and away from traffic sounds. 5 mins away from Youghal itself. Room was spacious, and comfortable. We asked if we could start breakfast earlier than usual and the hosts were obliging.

Negative: -Our bathroom window could do with a blind for more privacy. - If you come from the city, you need to adjust to the sound of silence at night!

Positive: Very nice and welcoming hosts, who offered us a wonderfully lush breakfast with the most delicious homemade muffins and were also very helpful with tips on what to do in the area. The room was spacious with a nice view out onto the bay and the bed very comfortable.

Positive: Beautiful setting, large and comfortable rooms, well-supplied with all things needed and a lovely breakfast too. Hosts are so welcoming and thoughtful, it’s a haven with wonderful views of Youghal bay and the estuary. Easy access to Youghal for work or pleasure!
