Positive: Rural location within easy drive of stunning scenery and perfectly situated to explore the local area . The property itself was outstanding. Sympathetically restored barns and stables offering a comfortable and relaxing place to stay . The owners have thought of everything from snuggly duvets , fully stocked kitchen ( even a juicer !) and outside sun loungers down to all towels, blankets for cold nights and even a well stocked drawer of essential hygiene products in case of emergencies. The attention to detail was really special and the hosts were attentive but not intrusive.

Negative: Only that we had to leave at the end of our weeks stay ! There really isn’t anything to dislike !

Whether you are sipping your morning Nespresso or cup of tea made with the boiling water tap, or enjoying toasted marshmallows around the fire pit, the garden is a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Inside, the accommodations are nothing short of luxurious. The bed linen and the blankets are of the highest quality, providing a sumptuous and inviting place to rest. One of the many highlights of our stay was the lush hot tub. Nestled in a serene corner of the garden, it was an ideal spot to soak away the stresses of everyday life. Positive: The house was beautifully furnished with fantastic sized rooms and lots of space. The outdoor area was a real treat complete with hot tub and fire pit. Mark and Julie were super welcoming and helpful. It was a gorgeous haven, just what we needed.
