Positive: The cottage was a dream! We travelled as a family with a toddler and a baby and were delighted with the toys and highchair provided. The fireplace in the evenings and the animals in the pasture outside made our stay perfect. We would come back anytime.

Positive: We like the serenity and the quietness of the area.

Negative: The bathroom was freezing and hard to get a good temperature in the shower. Also very slippery in the shower. The balcony area was filthy covered in chook poo and so was the door mat. We had clean before use. Not a lot of utensils in the kitchen or a chopping board. No kindling so you had to chop your own. The property is not maintained nicely for the money you're paying.

Positive: The location is beautiful, surreal and unexpectedly exceeded my expectations, the hiking trails weren't overly difficult and the views were magical, the property is nice and has such an open feel about it. Former reviews made it seem like there was no sink/kitchen but it comes with a kitchen sink, the cottage is tidy and has a cosy feel to it. Various wildlife, roaming chickens and cows nearby, true nature and farm feel.

Negative: There was no signal other than one spot a little away from the property, its not a deal breaker but made it difficult while trying to ensure contact to the outside world, the cottage is close to the homestead but that's fine as you'll mostly have the trails to your self and everyone respects each others privacy.

Summary: Beautiful, lovely and tranquil forest views.

Positive: I loved the location and the fire place. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed.

Negative: Unfortunately we didn’t get to go near the cows and did not see the waterfall. Mobile reception is sparse. It would be great to have an instruction booklet on how to use the stovetop and fireplace.

Summary: Fabulous, tranquil and a great break from “technology”! Very grounding!
