Summary: I would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast was tasty with an excellent variety. The room was clean and I loved the lighting options which maybe sounds silly but after a long day it helped to wind down. Every staff I encountered was kind and helpful. The international plug was a nice surprise. Steps away are some food options and a convenience store. The property was close to the airport and away from the high traffic areas which is my preference during a vacation.

Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. For travellers needing a comfortable layover in Langkawi, especially those with early departures, this property is a solid option. It even seems like it could be a good pick for a few days as they have a pool and there are a few dining options around that might be worth it to explore.

Summary: I recently stayed at The Smith House and was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. The cleanliness, the staff, the room amenities, and the pool were all excellent. While the hotel’s proximity to the airport is convenient and there are several good shops, restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby, reaching the beach requires a 20-minute ride by taxi or Grab, which is a bit inconvenient. However, overall, I was very pleased with the hotel.

Summary: We stayed at the Smith House for 3 nights. The location itself is away from the main attractions but very close to the airport. There is a strip mall under the hotel which has a Pizza Hut, KFC, 7Eleven and a few other shops for convenience. The room itself was very clean and good sized. The morning breakfast was decent and few options to choose from.
