Positive: We’d never stayed on a barge before and it was a lovely experience. The barge was moored at the side of a pond with an island in the middle and a beautiful weeping willow. There were ducks, geese and goslings and other waterfowl. Also a hot tub which we had all to ourselves. The lights hanging from the trees gave it a magical touch and we were able to use the hot tub when it was dark, as the lights guided us! Bed was really comfortable.

Negative: Could do with a little TLC on the outside of the barge, also we weren’t able to open all the windows. Could’ve done with a few more cooking utensils (eg: cheese grater, coffee pot for real coffee) but as I’d brought a lot of my own utensils that wasn’t a huge problem.

Positive: Amazing location with really nice scenery. Nice little town close by. Enjoyed interacting with the emus.

Negative: The hot tub was pretty cold and none of the buttons seemed to make a difference. Couldn't get any signal on the TV on the boat.
