Positive: The room was spotlessly clean, and staff very friendly and helpful.

Negative: The rooms needed updated, very old carpets, and in need of decoration. The bathroom was very cold, I was brought an extension lead to use an electric heater to use. I don’t feel I got value for money.

Positive: The property was nicely situated easy access to the town and we had a fridge in our room which was brilliant. The staff were so friendly absolutely lovely so thank you guys .

Negative: The rooms were a little out dated definitely would look nicer with an updated look.

Positive: Excellent staff. They were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It seemed that no matter what anyone’s role was they were more than happy to help. We did not have a meal but everything we observed concerning the food was excellent.

Negative: This is a difficult one as different people prefer different firmness of mattress. The mattress was very firm and so even though my son slept, I barely slept at all.

Summary: We would certainly stay again and recommend the Silver Cup to friends apart from the very firm mattress

Positive: A great location in a lovely village of Harpenden with nice staff.

Negative: The shower is seriously unsuitable for most people,it is too high off the ground and very difficult to get in and out of.An accident waiting to happen!Also the bedroom door was very stiff and difficult to open.

Summary: Very convenient location,nice helpful staff ,but not sure if it’s worth the money ,but needs some renovations
