Positive: Proximity to Southampton dock. Clean facilities and plenty of tea and coffee. My husband left his watch in the room and they very kindly posted it back to us 👍

Positive: Shoe Inn rooms are located upstairs in an pub which itself seems to be closed. Free parking is opposite the building, across a busy road. I stayed in the "garden" side of the building so did not hear the road. The room was clean, comforable and had an ensuite with a good shower. The bed was comfortable and I slept pretty well. At the price I paid, it was a very good value stay

Negative: Floor quite creaky and soundproofing between rooms not great, but neighbours were quiet. No wifi at all. Would imagine experience would be different if staying on the "road" side of the building

Summary: Good value stay, would definitely stay again

Positive: Room was clean has coffee and tea and kettle. Shower was powerful

Negative: Road noise ... But it next to a major road. So just had windows closed and all good :)
