Positive: Very homely environment. Owner couples are great human beings. They care like own family members. I enjoyed home made food. They always care to ask about choice before cooking.

Positive: We stayed here for 2 days and again came back here to stay for a day after covering North Sikkim. We ahad a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, and made me feel at home throughout my stay. The location is perfect and very peaceful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I would definitely love to come back again!

They are incredibly sweet, warm, and hospitable people. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and cozy—perfect for the Sikkim weather. What truly set this stay apart was Uncle’s helpfulness; he didn’t just provide a room, he actually helped us organize our entire stay and coordinated all our sightseeing trips across Sikkim. It took all the stress out of planning! If you want an authentic, comfortable, and stress-free experience, I cannot recommend this place enough. It truly felt like a home away from home."

Positive: I and my friend were on a motorcycle trip to Sikkim. We had a great stay at Sherpa's Abode. Thanks a lot Sherpa uncle for taking very good care of us. All your recommendations were super valuable. Food was incredible and the mountain views were breath-taking. The morning sun bathing on the terrace has been memorable. We'd highly recommend the place to other travelers as well. Thank you very much :)

Negative: didn't bother us much but for elderly guests, the walk from road to the rooms could be a bit taxing..as there are lot of steps. apart from this, everything was just perfect.

Summary: very homely stay, super warm hosts :)

Positive: The best part about my trip to Sikkim was my stay at The Sherpa's Abode. The view from the room was fantastic, the staff were also very cordial and warm especially, Vinay, Savita and Suraj. The food that was served by them was always warm and fresh and felt like we were eating at a relative's home. The host Nima Uncle is such a sweet and kind person. He shared his life stories with us which were so inspiring, he helped out with arranging taxi transportation and also gave hacks on taking care at higher altitudes. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, which is so rare to see these days.

Negative: There are a couple of stairs from the main road to the entrance/reception. My parents are in late 50s and they were able to do fine but had to take breaks in between.
