Positive: Excellent location; walking distance to the Pictou waterfront attractions. Nice to have an attached parking lot. Our host was super friendly and quite the character. Breakfast was an "event", with freshly prepared, tasty food and pleasant conversation with the other guests. Our room was cozy and comfortable.

Negative: Having our room on the top floor meant bringing our bags up a few flights of stairs, although the host offered his help with this.

Summary: This heritage inn provided a wonderful overnight stay in Pictou.

Positive: The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had lotion, the host was interesting to talk with and helpful with planning. We enjoyed having breakfast at the family table with the other guests.

Negative: The shower was too small, at most 2'x2'. Breakfast was metered out and limited. When we reserved, the description indicated that e had a sea view. We did not, we had a side view to another room. It felt like they were trying to impose their living style on us. Ex- why do you even need air conditioning, they don't have it in Europe.

Positive: the host Sandy and Cathy were extremely friendly and a great help in choosing spots to eat, as well they set up the tee time for my husband to golf! Lots of great directions to find spots too. The deck for outside seating is amazing with a firepit ! and lawn seating area beautiful as well. Think Scotland when you are here!

Negative: shower was fine for us but might be a bit small for others..

Summary: It had a very at home feeling and loved meeting other travelers. Loved Sandys attire for breakfast!
