Positive: Hiew and his team were incredibly accommodating, with nothing too much to ask during our stay. A highlight during our stay was the amazing breakfasts served each morning. A tasty mix of local and Malaysian dishes that we had never tried before. The accommodation was IMMACULATE and extremely comfortable with plenty of room for all of our clothes and belongings. We were also able to do some washing on-site, which was super helpful when travelling with children!

Positive: The property was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. The host was super friendly and very helpful - he took the time to talk to us every day, made sure we are happy and also helped to recommend food places and book our mangrove tour and island hopping trips for us. We are also very impressed the host managed to keep monkeys from entering the property.

Negative: Our family rented a car and drove around. Sometimes its hard for us to spot the right turn from the main road to drive into the compound. If the road into the property can be wider and clearly marked it will be a bonus!

Summary: We love the hospitality, cleanliness of the property especially the pool and the breakfast provided.

Positive: This place was outstanding. The property was incredible, spacious and spotless, and set in the middle of nature with monkeys, hornbills and water buffalo to see from the large and clean infinity pool. Hiew, the host, and his team were brilliant, Hiew in particular giving us lots of advice and helping us organise a hire car (well worth it and easy driving) and a mangrove tour (picked up and dropped off at premises). Breakfast was prepared and each day we had a different exceptional Malay breakfast that started us off nicely for the day. All 5 of us agree that this was the best place we have ever stayed.

Negative: It would be a wee bit of a walk to town but being in the jungle (did not get bitten once by mosquitoes btw) you would expect that. Grabs were cheap, quick and plentiful. We hired a car for 80 MYR a day and that was worth it. Driving in Langkawi is easy, just watch out for the monkeys.

Positive: My team stayed during the LIMA event. Normally, it takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the villa, but due to LIMA, it took almost 2 hours. Fortunately, the villa owner was very kind and waited patiently until my team arrived till 7:00pm. Don’t be scared—on the way to the villa, you might feel a bit lost at first. But don’t worry, once you arrive, you’ll feel calm and at peace. Surrounded by nature and the soothing sounds of insects, it truly brings back the nostalgic vibes of a traditional kampung.

Positive: The owner was very welcoming and informative. The villa was very spacious and clean. There were sufficient facilities and a really big private pool! Location was quiet and scenic.
