Positive: The place was very beautiful, clean, and felt warm and welcoming. It had a really good view and was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. The host, Aakangtsha, was extremely friendly, kind, and always helpful. We really enjoyed talking to her. She guided us well on the best places to visit, the right time to go, and also suggested some great food places. Her tips made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. The stay was comfortable and truly felt like a home away from home. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or family. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Darjeeling, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone planning a trip there.

Negative: The only minor issue was having just one bathroom, which meant a bit of waiting as we were a group of six.

Every corner, both inside and outside, is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, making it feel warm and homely rather than just a place to stay. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our experience even more special. All the facilities were top-notch and well maintained, and they even arranged a lovely bonfire for us, which became one of the most memorable parts of our stay. One of the cutest highlights was their pet dog, Watson — absolutely adorable and friendly, instantly adding joy to the whole experience. The hosts also guided us really well by suggesting nearby places to visit, which helped us plan our trip better without any stress. Overall, The Rokabas truly feels like a home away from home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, beautiful surroundings, and heartfelt hospitality. 💛🏔️
