Positive: The view from the window from the 6th floor was nice. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Walking distance from the tram and the river. Very quiet area at night for a good sleep.

Negative: The staff was not exactly enthusiastic at our arrival. The lobby looks a bit neglected. The area to leave the luggage after checkout is not exactly guarded and there is no label system or something similar to claim it. A bit far from the main attractions of the area. There were no amenities in the room besides water bottles.

Summary: Comfortable night but prepare yourself to walk a bit to get to places of interest

Positive: Welcomed warmly on arrival, and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, the bed relatively comfy, and the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. Convenient plug sockets and a nice TV.

Negative: On the 10th floor, there was a strong, musty aroma, which unfortunately continued into my room, accompanied by visible mold on the ceiling. Despite the positives of the hotel, the mold and musty smell meant I was grateful it was just a 1 night stay, and woke up to a sore throat. Air con power was good but just made the smell worse.

Positive: Room was big, same as restroom. We got a room upgrade thanks to genius program. Stores and buses close enough. Beds are comfortable. Views are nice.

Negative: There's a record speech that plays in the room at 10:30 & 11am if you have to leave, but is played even if you don't have to. A bit uncomfortable. AC is central and not strong enough, we had to use a fan left in the room everynight due it was too hot to sleep.

Summary: Comfortable and convenient hotel in a quite Kaohsiung district.
