Summary: Things we liked about Rigdon House were the complimentary happy hour, outdoor patio and location. Staff were nice, and we appreciated communication prior to the trip when the room we booked had issues. During that communication we were offered complimentary dessert for having to change rooms but we never got it. The hotel has so much potential but is very outdated and worn on the inside. The rooms are spacious but could definitely use some love. We got a good price, but will probably look elsewhere if we go back to the area.

Summary: I always enjoy staying at Rigdon House. Good price. Good location walkable to restaurants. Good free happy hour. My room is usually good but this time not all the lights in the room worked so not easy to use my laptop at the desk. Only 2 pieces of paper towels left so had to go down and ask for another roll. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and one in the sink. Housekeeping needs to be more diligent.

Summary: This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Exceeded expectations. Whoever decorated did a beautiful job. This hotel is very clean and well taken care of. The staff was so friendly and informative. Definitely thought of all the little touches, like snacks in the lobby and toiletries in the bathrooms. they have a happy hour with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Everything is set up beautifully and well thought out. I would absolutely recommend, and would stay here again. The town of Cambria is so cute. There are plenty of places to eat, and everyone is very friendly.

Summary: The Rigdon House was a wonderful choice for our family's long weekend trip. The location is unbeatable — surrounded by cute shops and just a 3–5 minute walk to great restaurants. Christian at the front desk was a standout: incredibly warm and welcoming. He even invited our three kids to enjoy happy hour, where the whole family was treated to drinks and snacks. Little extras like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate made us feel right at home. Our family room was spacious and came equipped with a fridge and microwave, which was super handy for reheating leftovers. The cozy fireplace out back was a lovely touch to end the evenings. Overall, the Rigdon House is a true hidden gem; highly recommend it for families!

Summary: Super cute property! Had coffee outside in the garden and listened to all the birds. The room was great, spacious, clean and comfy. Walking distance to our favorite shops and restaurants in Cambria and a short drive to the beach.

Summary: Imagine going back in time where hospitality meant something…this property is all about making the guest feel welcome. Christian is absolutely the best host and mixologist I’ve ever known yo manage a property…and I am 79. Boutique, a lovely relaxed energy…but most of all…a welcoming host and a caring owner. 5-stars. ❤️

Summary: Quaint boutique style property near restaurants and shops in the heart of Cambria. Very nice happy hour included with several mixed drink and wine offerings. Nice fire pit where we enjoyed meeting several repeat customers from as far as San Francisco and Los Angeles.
