Positive: The property was very clean, comfortable & to a high standard. With a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space, along with off-road parking, it had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are a lovely couple that made us feel very welcome. They made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would certainly recommend the property to family & friends.

Positive: Fantastic hosts. The Retreat is a hidden gem in the village of Colebrook, fully equipped, great facilities, self contained gardens and onsite parking, all set in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas. It had everything we could possibly need and so cosy and comfortable, loved everything about this cottage - we will definitely recommend and will return.

Negative: I honestly can’t find any faults - loved it !!

Summary: Outstanding - Perfect hidden gem & definitely going back here !

Positive: Had everything we needed was offered the use of the washing machine in the out house too. Excellent place to stay!

Negative: A trundle bed would be a fab addition to one of the double rooms.
