Positive: We ordered scones on arrival. the best scones I've ever had. we went out exploring the area and stayed in every evening .It felt like coming home we didnt want to go out at night .Mary & Derek are so lovely they felt like old friends . we rally enjoyed the proprety. we will come again .

Negative: Nothing could have been better .it was perfect.

Positive: Everything! It was delightful - warm, clean, quiet & private, being completely separate from the main house. A great breakfast was provided but I took my own food. I knew breakfast was provided but wasn't sure how good it would be. Next time, I won't need to. When I looked out my windows in the morning there were several kangaroos grazing on the lawn & there were lots of beautiful birds.

Negative: Just the distance from Woodend, which was about 10 kms. I was there for the Woodend Winter Arts Festival so needed to be in town at different times of the day. The weather wasn't good & I was sometimes travelling at night so I was worried about wildlife on the road. However, this would not prevent me from staying at this place again.

Positive: Great location both Derick and Mary are fabulous hosts . I would recommend this stay to anyone . Excellent , quite , fabulous get away

Negative: Poor phone reception and no WiFi but it is a get away retreat so if your looking to done tools and recharge , this is definitely the place

Positive: The location was handy to town. The cottage was quietly nestled at the back of the property. It was great having the tennis court and the wildlife was a bonus. The scones were great and the host was very welcoming.

Negative: Nothing really. It was a little out of town, but the bonus is the quiet location.
