Positive: The room was recently renovated to a nice standard

Negative: The windows were filthy you could barely see through them. The building going from the reception area up to the room needs a lot of work as it’s very run down and dated. The fire alarm went off and then turned off in the morning which was less than ideal

Positive: Close to NEC so good location The only positives were that the room seemed recently renovated and the shower pressure was good.

Negative: Overall a disappointing stay. The Wi-Fi barely reached the room and disconnected every few minutes. Our room was extremely far away with no directions on how to get to it, and the hallways were cold and smelled smokey. Despite booking a double room for two guests, there was only one towel and it was covered in yellow stains. We asked reception for a replacement but no one ever brought it, so we eventually had to walk back ourselves to get clean towels. Parking also costs extra and there was construction going on during our stay. The smart TV didn’t allow Netflix or other smart features and froze most of the time. Both bedside lights were broken, and with no big light over the bed it made it very dark! In the morning, cleaners propped open a fire door opposite our room which beeped every 20 seconds and kept us awake Rolling bathroom door had no lock and would just slide open randomly. Reception was also quite rude when we arrived just four minutes before check-in time.

Negative: Not being made aware that our room was at the end of a diversion due to renovations (240) and was quite a distance from reception with the diversions, should have been made aware and checked regarding ability that would be ok. Once we got to our room we also didn't have enough towels for us both (1 to share?!) and we weren't willing to make our long walk to reception to ask for another and had no signal to call from our mobiles.
