Summary: The Reef is the hotel on the Atlantis property that you should consider if you are traveling with family. The one-bedroom suite is very large with a king-sized bed in one room and a pull-out queen sleeper in the other. They also include a full-sized blow-up mattress that is comfortable. The suite has a kitchenette with pots, pans, dishes, and a Keurig single cup coffee maker that is supplied daily with several k-cups. The beach and pool are easily accessible. The water park is a short walk as are the lagoons. There isn't a bar or restaurant at the Reef. Family friendly dining is on the opposite side of the property at The Coral, Marina Village, and The Royal. There are shuttle buses that run very frequently (every 5 to 10 minutes). We visited in mid-August, and we were told it is one of the slower times of the year - Go Then! The crowds were large but not overly so. We did not do any of the add-on excursions. There was plenty for the kids to do with the pools, beach, water park, arcade, and exhibits. The Atlantis is not cheap! Be prepared to add an additional 10% VAT and 15% gratuity on everything you buy. That said, the trip was well worth the money. Wife and I took the entire family, 3 adult kids and spouses, and 5 grandchildren, ages 10 months to 13 years old. There was something for everyone,

Summary: The resort was very nice and clean. The staff super helpful with questions we may have had. The breakfast cart perfect for a small breakfast. Starbucks was also good in the hotel. Only downside is there were 2 power outages while we were there it came back on quick but a little inconvenient when you don’t have AC (middle of the night) and then the second time when we were getting ready to leave so I was worried we’d have to walk down the stairs.

Summary: We had an amazing time at Atlantis. We stayed at The Reef in a 2 bedroom suite. We had 2 couples with 3 children ranging from 2, 11 and 13. The suite provided ample space for everyone. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the water park as well the beach.

Summary: Absolutely best vacation spot. We went for a week with 4 adults 3 kids and stayed at the Reef 2 bedroom suite. Everything was impeccable! Pool is connected to the beach with lots of chairs. The shuttle saved us so much walking and runs consistently. Cant wait to go back already!

Summary: The Reef was beautiful and had the nicest beach. Great for families who want to eat in/prepare their own food. Staying here reminded me a bit like Disney. A lot of walking back and forth (though they do have buses). The dining we preferred was in Royal/Marina. They tried sending us to Harbor view even though we booked ocean view. After a little bit of pushback they gave us the ocean view. It is not high season right now and was not busy so not sure what the reasoning was. Third party booking?

Summary: Beautiful property with so many activities that a week is not enough. However, the staff are rude, not helpful and just come off as cold, like no one is happy to be working there. Food quality is mediocre, service is terrible. We travel a lot, all over the world, I have yet to visit any other country with bad food, and bad service that would equal to this place. Not sure if all of Bahamas is like this, or if it was just this resort.
