Positive: The room was ideal, soon warmed up when the radiator was turned on. Good shower, comfortable bed and had good coffee in the room. Plenty of parking and an extremely quaint building.

Negative: The dinning menu was a bit limited and food often not as hot as I would prefer. Not much choice for veggie/vegan but they tried up to a point. Breakfast advertised as continental non existent , or al a carte . Full English a bit sparse, basket of toast was two slices from a loaf. Ordered granola with berries, no berries !! Depending which day it was the breakfast service was poor.

Summary: Charming building, ideal placed for our trip to the IWM Duxford.

Positive: The pub is really nice, and the location was good for what we needed. The staff were super nice.

Negative: I don’t like leaving a poor review, but we were really disappointed with our stay. The room was sparse, there was only one chair and it had patches of fabric missing and cracks in the fabric. The TV was like something out of the 90’s, a tiny tv up on the wall with a fuzzy picture. We could hear every word that our neighbors said as if they were in the room!! The WiFi was terrible so I couldn’t work and had to go to a coffee shop.☹️.

Summary: Sadly it is not somewhere I would stay again, it was very overpriced ☹️but the pub is really lovely 😊

Positive: The accommodation was clean, spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The pub had a great atmosphere to enjoy an evening with a partner, log fire burning (exactly as we had hoped) and the food was good.

Negative: There was a banging sound happening regularly from outside. Maybe every 20 minutes or so, I think it could have been a door or something which was quite irritating. But apart from that nothing was wrong.
