Positive: Good beach, delicious food, beatiful surroundings, very comfortable giant bed? not many animations hence quite peaceful, you can try paddle, kayaking, surfing, etc, a lot animals on the property - crabs by the river, numerous birds, a family of ducks, even flying foxes.

Positive: Beach location and view from room.

Negative: Had dogs barking through the night for 3 nights, was resolved when we complained. Had a local family of 8 people adults and children came onto the beach, messing around with 1 of the fishing boats, swimming and shouting along the beach. Found it very intimidating.

Summary: Stayed there last year. This year not as good.

Positive: Basically everything. Food was amazing, staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Location is also amazing, had so much fun with the water activities.

Negative: Aircon in our room wasn't working for 3 nights, eventually had to move to another room.

Positive: Special thanks to the Kids Club staff: Jennyfer, Joelle, Stefi, and Oceanne for your kindness and smile throughout our stay. My son really enjoyed the interactive activities @ the club with his new friends and thanks again for sending the follow up souvenir photos. Beautiful memories! Boathouse staff were great with explaining step by step boat activities safety rules. Front office staff were polite but Check-in procedure was very slow and not much follow-up call back in terms of room change availabilities and late check-out possibilities. Hotel lobby area even though nicely set but not well illuminated and too gloomy. The rooms were quite spacious with nice balcony but it would be great to have some sort of walls or opaque shutters between bathroom area and bedrooms for convenience and privacy. Buffet food taste was good but choices were limited and mostly the same throughout our stay. All other restaurants were fully booked.

Positive: 1. The hotel is perfectly located in Balaclava to spend August holiday in Mauritius. 2. Ravenala Attitude has one of the cleanest beach in Mauritius. They even clean up the sea grasses. Keep the good work! 3. The House Keeping cleans efficiently and carefully. Thank you for providing comfort day after day. 4. The animation team goes above and beyond. Very creative but not too pushy (in terms of pursuing participation) . Thank you, sorry I wasn’t able to join the beach volleyball.

Negative: 1. Buffet restaurant needs improvement: a. underline daily „special theme“ and communicate it = island 10 is otherwise lost in the shuffles b. I like the idea of serving Indian and local food, however they are mostly spicy = 4 out of 5. Impossible for children and for sensitive stomach. No wonder everyone wants to eat a la carte. c. Settle Chinese or simple Asian food as daily standard. This is a standard. Everyone likes it d. Reduce the pastries, introduce ice cream, especially for children. I didn’t ask. But someone told me if I asked my children would recelve ice cream. e. A la carte reservation system is nontransparent. The same night after arrival, we were told no a la carte available until the night before we leave. But then other tourists managed to receive it immediately whereas I had to pursue, because of our sensitive stomach. f. I noticed the hotel is generally preferred by group tourism. Makes the individual tourists a bit left alone. Faults design of shower. The drain is not placed on the lowermost position inside shower.
