Summary: Lovely 60th birthday stay. The food was excellent, the bar, the lounge area and the dining facilities are so snug and such nice places to be. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the near future.

Summary: Stayed in a family suite with lounge and kitchen. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Lovely clean accommodation and even a real fire. Bed super comfy. Evening meal superb with good portions and attentive staff who were very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Fabulous cosy lounges with log fires to choose from and relax. Great bar. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of dishes. This country hotel is only a few minutes drive from Helmsley for shopping. Had a really lovely stay and would return in a heart beat. Thank you.

Summary: Lovely decor and made to feel cozy with lots of candles. Room was spacious with nice features such as good coffee, homemade biscuits. Only issue was a lot of plumbing noises coming from adjoining rooms which was very loud at 96:39 in the morning.
