A tranquil setting with sitting room, queen bed and corner jacuzzi tub overlooking the harbour where you can watch the sunset over the ocean. There is a private deck to sit and breathe in the fresh air as you listen to the waves roll in to the shore. A great space for couples looking for that perfect getaway.

Summary: My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Can't say enough good things about The Peridot Retreat. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated; and the jacuzzi was amazing. We loved the view of the bay and being able to sit on the deck for meals. Kitchen was great, well equipped. Also, so central to great hikes, landmarks, and spectacular sights. Thank you, Yvonne, for sharing your space with us - this was truly a memorable vacation.

Summary: The retreat is lovely, clean, convenient, and walking distance to a variety of restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the birds and boats in the harbour. Rocky Harbour is a perfect location to stay when visiting Gros Morne.

Summary: We wanted a central location to explore the area. Did a Bonne Bay Tour…that was epic, Lobster Cove Head, lots of shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the ice cream shop that makes their own ice cream. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on one evening and an extraordinary rainbow the next. We did a trail at the tablelands on the way to Port aux Basques…everything has been so perfect!
