Positive: Lympstone is very pleasant and the property is well located. Convenient for the car park.

Negative: The property has a doggy smell. Reviewers had mentioned the sofa (chaise longue), but I didn’t realise it’s not possible for two people to sit on it (no back to sit against).

Summary: Compact cottage in a pretty village, probably more suited to people with dogs.

Positive: Lovely location. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of dog walks from the door. Handy for shop, pub, cafe and train. Car park worked well for us using a week long permit for it and other east Devon car parks.

Negative: Could be clearer that there's no secure area for your dog. The patio is actually the public footpath outside.

Positive: Located near car park and small station. Station gave access to other places without having to take the car e.g. Exmouth, Exeter, Teignmouth. Good local pub, the Swan for food ,drinks and good vibes

Negative: No washing machine, but no space for one. No whee to wash or dry clothes and we have been travelling for sometime

Negative: The cottage was quaint and warm and so welcoming, my only comments would be that a comfy living room sofa would be desirable!
