Summary: We stayed at the Park Royal for 1 night. There was an odour of damp in the bar/reception area. The room was clean but as it was warm we had to open the window which had air conditioning units presumably for the health club right outside the window and they were noisy all night. Even with the windows closed the noise could be heard. The bed was small and not the most comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was of a good standard with wide choice in a buffet style.

Summary: Stared well but on the hottest day of the year the ac in the room was broken and the ceiling was stained i tried to use the pool to relax but there was an aqua aerobics class 😣 spoke to Mary on reception who was very kind and as they couldn’t fix the ac and my disappointment re the poo they moved me to a better room excellent customer service

Summary: Very comfy beds led to a good nights sleep. Clean room. Big enough for a night. Room and hotel a bit dated but not overly to distract. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool, sauna and steam room where great. The changing area and lockers ideal. The showers didn't have a mat outside them so the floor was very wet and quite slippy when we stayed. Breakfast was good. They didn't have much on show for gluten-free, fruit, yoghurt, cereals. Asked for toast and they also have more. The evening meal wasnt as we expected a bit expensive and not much choice and it wasn't that good. They had 2 gluten-free choices. Not many eating here.

Summary: I have used Q hotels quite a few times over the years but was becoming dispondent woth them so have avoided for a few years now. This weekend I tried then again, wished I hadnt. The room was ok size, but left one pillow on a double bed for two people, only one towel, no glasses in the room, bathroom was mouldy. Food lrices represent poor value, on the whole a better experience to be had in a travelodge.

Summary: We stayed in the Ambassador suite which was perfect for our family of four. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, including the two queen size sofa beds. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our twins have complex additional support needs and staff went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly for them. We used the swimming pool and the disabled changing room was great. Parking was great too. Complimentary water, drinks and snacks in the room too. A great stay. We’ll definitely use this hotel again.

Summary: We were very grateful for the effort made by all the staff during our special stay. The minibar, balloons, chocolates and heart shaped petals design were really nice touches. Our room was made up very nicely by Beth (whom we didn't get to meet, Sorry Beth). Booking in was great. Our champagne was opened by Ben (who was just as bubbly) and boy was it a loud pop, which surprised us all! Joanna welcomed us at breakfast, together with a number of breakfast staff who were very attentive and efficient. For those with electric vehicles, there are two V2 Tesla chargers onsite at the rear of the hotel near the spa/sports area complex (NOTE these are very well subscribed to, especially by Tesla owners). We enjoyed our stay immensely and are booking the same date and stay length (and hopefully the same room) next year. Whilst the experience was absolutely tremendous, there were some slight concerns (not enough to be issues). The door to the room was a little temperamental The sink was missing its plug The toilet flush was temperamental The toasters in the breakfast buffet area were not very good (requiring a two pass per slice to get a honey brown toast) The breakfast coffee systems played up on the final day but were soon back in action. All said and done, we are, as stated earlier, looking forward to returning next year.
