Summary: Clean, comfortable large room and bathroom. Furniture is worn and needs updating. Liked the big windows, bed comfy. Only one elevator working, we’d walk down stairs and I’d wait for the elevator going up…kids would walk up. Not a big deal for us, but if you rely on it could take a while or be very crowded. Breakfast was ok, not a lot for price paid. Staff person forgot my latte and I had to ask about it after three people behind me in line got their drinks.

Summary: The hotel itself is a gem in downtown Bakersfield with nice rooms and just a nice hotel overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and addressed everything I needed while I was there, shoutout to Gia for helping me get checked in and for helping me get a room that was more distant from the nearby noisy nightclub and for getting me a toothbrush when I needed one.
