Recently renovated and set in a large old Blue Mountains landmark property on one acre of gardens in Wentworth Falls, this apartment offers a stunning vista over southside Wentworth Falls and backs directly onto the Charles Darwin reserve and walk, yet is also only a leisurely 10 minute walk to the local village.
This is a fully separated apartment, spread out over 75sq m, including a bespoke, private 15sq m verandah to enjoy the vista. It`s a very liveable space with its full size kitchen ( incl full laundry ), bathroom and living area. It’s also wonderfully warm with a large split system aircon and lots of natural light.
With views from every window you will feel a world away, and set in a building that is large enough to guarantee a high level of privacy, it’s a genuine retreat without the resort level price tag.
Being really close to everything of relevance in the wonderful Blue Mountains district ( its only 2 mins drive off the highway ), means it is easy to access and enjoy the many walks, cafes and restaurants nearby and makes for a great base for explorations further afield. The nearby bush walks in Wentworth Falls really are among the most spectacular in the mountains and the Charles Darwin Walk can be directly accessed from the backyard of this property ( this walk is now half open after many years of repairs )
Fully equipped and totally self-catering with a self check-in procedure, everything is in place for a great home away from home experience or as many guests have used already, a great during the week work environment as well. Private off street parking & good WiFi.
This apartment is located on the same property as the also listed Suenaga Suite and Haiku Hut in case you want to sync up your stay with another couple/s or friends.
( Please Note: there are some building works happening in an adjacent property nearby starting from September 2023 as a new dwelling gets constructed which takes place Mon-Fri until further notice. So far this has had minimal impact on guests staying at the property with most of the work having been done already ). *Updated 27/3/2025

Summary: We loved this cozy space, it's everything the pictures and description say. Enjoyed the immediate/out the door access to Charles Darwin Walk...great for a short walk to town for groceries (shops/restaurants close early), an evening stroll or hike all the way to Wentworth Falls. Easy access to Katoomba and Leura and beyond. Fabulous bathtub for post-hike. Very private and lovely view off the back porch to watch the sunset. Luke was incredibly communicative and accommodating...the place is very private even with two other guest units, we rarely saw and never heard another person. Loved it. If ever back in Australia, we'd stay here again.

Summary: The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. There's a gorgeous view of the valley from the windows and balcony. I especially enjoyed the little living room that served as a very nice reading nook! The apartment is also close to town, so everything you need is just a walk away, but it's far enough that you don't get traffic noise. There's also a beautiful bush walk that you can access from the bottom of the yard, that follows the creek.

Summary: Origami is unique, located in a peaceful neighbourhood with its own valley views, a stroll away from charming Wentworth Falls village. Origami exudes funky flair. It has the best equipped kitchen you could wish for. It is completely comfortable, cleverly decorated and immaculately maintained. Perfect for couples, young and not-so-young.

Summary: My husband and I had a short break mid week at The Origami Apartment in Wentworth Falls September 2024. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Amazingly beautiful views from the rooms. It looks over our gorgeous Australian bush and gardens. It was an easy walk to the township, pub and many walking tracks. I would recommend to anyone. Summary: What a beautiful apartment. The Origami was very clean and has everything you need. Perfect for 2 people with lots of privacy, basic essentials in the kitchen with lots of cookware. Deep bath in a nice bathroom. We loved all the ornaments and the ambience the apartment offered. Heating was great and the view from the back deck was peaceful. The location is only a short walk to the village. Luke was very prompt in answering any questions prior to our stay and the welcome guide that he has put together is most helpful. Will recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for having us! We hope to be back
