Positive: Historical property being the first hotel in Kobe around 1868. but modernized for the current time. Breakfast buffet is one of the top 5 we have experienced in Japan over the last 5 years. French toast and Eggs Benedict were excellent. Staff interactions could be improved but normal for Japanese standards.

Negative: Having to complete the guest check in information seemed redundant as the property had all the required information in advance with our direct booking.

Summary: Met expectations although was hoping for more.

Positive: Everything was very well thought out when it came to decor, comfort, the club lounge offerings, and all of the amenities. The staff was attentive and friendly, yet also very professional and non-obtrusive. We loved, too, that the checkout time was noon.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay except that we had to leave such a luxurious and comfortable hotel.

Positive: Breakfast very good - gym small and no spa or pool. Staff very nice. No shuttle bus was disappointing for a hotel of your of your quality and the prices your charge.
