Positive: Lovely room with great facilities, especially the extensive tea and coffee making selection (including oat milk options). Great evening menu with huge portions (too big for me!) and not overpriced.

Negative: My room was a "cozy room" and had a bathroom with sloping roof (and door to match). It was almost impossible to have a shower in the bath unless you're very short (I am, but I still didn't fancy my chances). The bath was lovely though. If you were over about 5ft 5 you would struggle to stand up in most of the bathroom.

Positive: Everything. Great staff, attentive, courteous, polite and very professional. Great food, well prepared and extremely tasty with unexpectedly short delays between courses, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. Wonderful atmosphere in both the pub and the restaurant and obviously popular with the locals. All in all a superb visit.

Negative: We had the family room which, as a bedroom, was great, but there was no seating. A couple of chairs would make a tremendous difference and this is the only reason we didn't give the full 10/10.
