Positive: Great little cottage for us Very useful to have the parking space at the front of the cottage ( perfect for smaller cars ) Also there is a nice pub a short walk that was recommended - would definitely recommend

Negative: Would have been lovely to have a coffee machine or Cafetiere as we are all coffee addicts But plenty of kitchen space to take your own if you are staying for longer

Positive: The place was an absolute joy to stay in and me and my friend loved the location. The view from the front was stunning and we enjoyed sitting outside with perfect weather. It’s a beautiful house and we loved everything about it especially the decor and furnishings. It was a perfect location for daily outings to parts of the Peak District.

Positive: It's a beautiful property which a great view, inside is very cosy, very happy with our choice to stay here. Handy space infront of the house for parking so didn't have to worry about finding a place to park the car.

Negative: Unfortunately the sofa was very uncomfortable but it's not too bad as was outside most of the time. The WiFi didn't work 99% of the time, unfortunatlly

Positive: Very clean, warm and well laid out house. Kitchen was well equipped and everything fully functional, and great attention to small details, like nice clean blankets for when it got cold and everything was easy to clean. Great location for hiking around Matlock. Lovely and quiet surroundings but not isolated. Note, its quite a steep climb up from Matlock center but we enjoyed it. Also it was very dog friendly and easy.

Negative: Only very minor items, the bathroom door didn't stay 100% closed on the latch (you could prop it shut though, so not a big deal), and the matress was a bit hard for my back after long hikes, but thats my personal preference. A lovely place to stay.
