Positive: Beautiful cottage in a rural setting with only a short drive to local towns and a 25 minute drive to Glasgow. The cottage interior is exceptional and exceeded expectations the hosts have done an amazing job it has everything you would need. As a family we usually stay in hotels only and this was our first private let and we certainly will always book this place on our return to Glasgow .

Positive: Spacious, luxurious accommodation. Peaceful with lovely views. Plenty room for family who live locally to visit. Enjoyed the books and games. Beds comfortable. Soft, fluffy towels.
Negative: This is one of the best self catering accommodation. I have stayed in. I liked everything.

Positive: The hosts are lovely, and quick to help should you have any questions. The Old Stables are next to where the owner live, in a nice and quiet area. The living area has nice big windows which make it a very well lit and pleasant space to reside.

Positive: Very comfy bed and decent shower. Generally very quiet and easily accessible
Negative: The kitchen was not clean. The loo nearest the bedroom was very noisy and not appropriate for all 'waste'. The oven is a range cooker. No idea how to use this. All of the surfaces were covered with stuff.
Summary: Not to my taste. But good enough and definitely the place if you want a huge and comfy bed!

Positive: beautiful place, very comfortable. we had everything we needed and more. The old stables is located just a short drive into glasgow so perfect if you want to visit the city.
Negative: would have liked a quick guide for the cooker. I’ve not used one like that before and took a while to work out how to get it to work. but other then that it was a wonderful stay.
Summary: perfect place for a little get away!
