Positive: Very comfortable and warm, everything you need is present. Very nice walk with great dramatic views is quite near (walking distance).

Negative: We did not have wifi connection in the double bedroom but this was a minor thing to us

Positive: Great to meet Hannah (+ dog!) who took us to meet the cows and gave us some insights into the world of milking. Spacious and clean property all round with a fully kitted out kitchen/diner. Great to have retro games, puzzles, books and some DVDs for evening entertainment. There is a beautiful walk straight from the farm towards Chee Dale including stepping stones - highly recommended!

Positive: The location was great for exploring the local area. Footpaths were easily accessible from the property. The property had games, books and entertainment for the children, but they enjoyed the outdoor space the most. The heater in the living room was easy to use and gave instant warmth, which was very welcome.

Negative: A fly screen on the front door would prevent so many flies from coming inside the stable especially into the kitchen area. A welcome tray of some basic locally sourced products i.e oatcakes, bread, milk or eggs would have been thoughtful and in line with many other properties we have rented over the years. We arrived late in the day after a very long journey and a pint of milk in the fridge would have been very welcome. This is just a small negative though.
