Positive: Good location for us to visit our daughter son in law and grandson as they live in Riccall. Nice restaurant and cafe and two pubs nearby. Parking space was available on the premises .

Positive: Beautiful self contained Annexe, loved that we had our own safe car parking spot too. There was a smart Tv which was a bonus! Everything you could ask for was provided, and only a short walk or drive to local amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Negative: The only thing was that the shower was cold/luke warm first thing this morning, but we didnt mind.

Summary: Great place! Wonderful, friendly hosts, would definitely stay again

Positive: I am not really used to eating sweet muffins for breakfast, I would have preferred something more 'breakfast-friendly' like croissants or even unsweetened bagels or crumpets.

Negative: Although the apartment was modern, clean and comfortable, the annexe did not have a view at all, the window was too high to see out of! This did not match with the description. Also, the 'rural view' consisted of - if you stood outside on the steps - furniture in a small, enclosed garden. There was a pond next door, but as our stay was in winter, there was no chance of watching the ducks ... no windows! I felt claustrophobic the whole time I was there, sorry. Someone who does not need to see outside would probably love it! Also, unfortunately, the fumes from the boiler next door came in at the window.
