The lodge has stunning views over the wildlife ponds, and into the woodland beyond. There is a sunken hot tub on the decking, perfectly posioned to make the best of the views.

There are nature trails in abundance at Hollicarrs. Whether you are looking for a gentle stroll, or a more energetic walk over a longer distance, walking trails have been carefully carved out among the trees around the lodge park, leading you through bluebell dells, primrose banks, past our bird hide to spot the wildlife and natural ponds teaming with life.
If you prefer to cover a couple of miles, why not walk through the woods to Skipwith Common Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest. This route takes you past the lovely Norman Church in Skipwith and the Drovers Arms is only a slight detour.
Tennis
The hard tennis court is flood lit enabling play throughout the year.

The fishing lake at Hollicarrs is within easy walking distance of the lodge park and provides a sheltered, well stocked lake. Fishing platforms have been designed around the area for easy access including disabled areas for wheelchair users.

Summary: Loved the location of the park - lodge is beautiful and decorated to a very high standard. 4 for location as before we booked we didn't expect to have neighbours so close to the lodge. We would of appreciated a little more privacy - but it did not ruin our weekend. We would definitely return, maybe try a different lodge next time.

Summary: Lovely lodge with quality fittings and furnishings, pictures, bedding, towels etc all very comfortable and well equipped. Great hot tub! The park was very peaceful with nice walks.

Summary: We love the views that this lodge affords, we were enthralled by the kestrels feeding their young in what appeared to be four separate nests, all visible from our outside area, everything in the lodge is of a high standard and feels special, we cooked a couple of meals and found everything we needed including kitchen scales. The beds are very comfortable and we slept well.
