Positive: This hotel is a true gem - 5-star restaurant and cuisine, amazing location in Taiwan mountains, and authentic UK-style rooms (and the whole hotel). The hotel is beautiful, it is a local landmark - you see people making photos all the time. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they are really trying to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Interesting additional thing - apparently this hotel owner is into HiFi and music, rooms are equipped with high-end audio systems, and there is a special daily "music hour" in one of the entertainment areas. This hotel is an excellent choice for Taiwan people who want to get an experience of staying in an old-style fancy European hotel without travelling to Europe, but it is also just a good hotel to stay if you are visiting Taiwan mountains. While this hotel is not cheap, it gives you good value for money - room rate includes dinner (and breakfast), and this is true 5-course dinner, expertly prepared by a really good chef.

Positive: Awesome environment and the architechure. excellent set of dinner. You could borrow CDs from the front desk to enjoy the hifi in your room, classic, jazz, oldies, you name it. Friendly staff.

Negative: I checked the booking.com records, we have booked two rooms two double beds , hotel said we only booked king bed , making me pay extra money for upgrades rooms for two double beds, I don’t feel comfortable.

Positive: The staff were exceptional in their service and really took care of all our needs and exceeded our expectations. The room was special and luxurious and the amenities and toiletries were the best. The meals provided , the ambience , the evening music and the attitude of the staff in creating a special experience for us made our stay memorable and unique.

Negative: There are many steps and uneven areas around the hotel’s premises. May be a tripping hazard if guests are not for watchful .
