Positive: Lovely property in the centre of town, a short walk from all local amenities and the bus station. Very comfortable and cosy without feeling small, and it was spotlessly clean! As we were there in Oct I was a little worried about how cold it might be as it's an old house, but it never felt cold. The beds were very comfortable. Our host, Donald, was very kind and even picked us up from the airport. Some milk, bread and a few local treats were waiting for us on arrival.

Positive: Very comfortable self-catering property just off the main shopping street in Kirkwall. Very convenient for the shops, the harbour, bus station and Cathedral. All were in walking distance. There was parking space if we had hired (or arrived by) car.
