Positive: This place is an absolute gem. We were welcomed like family and made to feel very comfortable. The room was spacious and fitted out with quality finishes making it a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The parking was easy and a small fridge was a nice touch. The breakfast was fabulous - my only regret is that I wasn't feeling well that morning and couldn't eat it all.

Positive: The room was cozy and had everything we could expect and more. Very comfy bed. We had a late arrival from the ferry but we were welcomed as soon as we pulled up. Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were very kind and friendly.

Positive: where do I start? The hosts were so friendly I felt no request would have been an issue. All very relaxed. Food was excellent, as was the banter. Location fabulous, short stroll to shops and bars. We were lucky enough to have a harbour view which was very much appreciated. Now I know why Heatherlea got such a high rating on Booking.com, worthy of all good comments. Our room had every facility anyone could look for, even a dressing room. Honestly, I would recommend this property in a heartbeat, worth every penny and a lovely treat. Definitely coming back. Thanks to our hosts, you were lovely.

Positive: Everything! Debbie knows how to spoil a person! I must say facecloths were a welcome surprise and the strong enough coffee and fresh fruit at breakfast was the best!

Positive: Debbie was very welcoming and accommodating when I arrived and the room was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was good and there was a lot of options to choose from. Heatherlea is located very close to the centre of Kirkwall and is only a few minutes walk to the ferry terminals.

Positive: We loved everything about the property. Debbie was the perfect host. Our room was so comfortable and every detail was appreciated. The vanity was a perfect place to get ready, the shower was great, and the fridge was so useful. Your breakfast was delicious and perfect every morning. The location to town was perfect. Just a 5 minute walk. The parking in front was so convenient. Absolutely perfect stay!
