Positive: The cottage was fully equipped. Very clean. Well informed welcome pack. Plenty of room for a couple. The wifi was not that great but one expects that in remote places. Throughly enjoyed the peace and quite of the village.

Negative: The bed and the pillows were lumpy but noticed memory form pillows in the cupboard.

Positive: The company managing the cottage was very responsive when we encountered unplanned issues.

Negative: Two of the light bulbs were not working on arrival. There was a lot of rain and, at one point, the roof started leaking through a ceiling.

Summary: We had a warm, comfortable, and relaxing few days with space and facilities to eat in and relax.

Positive: The property was wonderful. There were only two of us, and we had ample room to move about or have a moment of privacy. The private courtyard is the perfect place to read or do nothing at all. I also loved that the village was quiet and wasn’t crowded with tourists.

Negative: I didn’t love having to strip the beds and take out the garbage. The stairway leading to the kitchen/living room areas really is not for people with ambulatory/stability issues, as one side has no wall or guard rail. I’d be concerned for the safety of small children.
