Positive: Great place to stay with my partner and Mum - with nice shared spaces, but two bedrooms. Close to lots of attractions in the Peak District, but nice to have easy parking. Quirky and comfortable. Great to be able to cook for ourselves.

Negative: We stumbled on finding it the first time, but it was fine when we followed the instructions more carefully.

Summary: Great spot, good value, quirky and comfortable place to stay.

Positive: I would recommend The Chapel to anyone, it was wonderful. The host provided a great welcome basket with all kinds of treats, never seen anything like it! Super nice house, fully equipped. Very clean. There is even a washing machine and dishwasher. We had a wonderful week and we would come again. Good to know that the cottage is in the owners' garden, this was not a problem for us.

Negative: The only downside we could think of is that the double bed was too small (too narrow) for us. We ended up sleeping in the other room where we pushed the two single beds together. That was possible because there were only the two of us.

Positive: It was super comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen. The double bed was comfy and cozy. The living room was super light and airy, yet was warm and inviting. And the shower was lovely and hot with good water pressure. Gorgeous views and based in a very peaceful village, it was lovelier than expected.

Negative: We'd have to be super pedantic to find fault. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.
