Positive: The welcome gift was a lovely touch. Views and cosy cottage. Comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Within driving distance to what we want to see. Everything we needed was provided. Information on places to visit. Sunsets/rises.

Positive: Exceptional stay, beautiful building full of character, scenery from lounge window stunning, beautiful location, hosts very friendly and respect your privacy, enclosed paddock for the dog awesome! Beds very comfy. Just a 5 min drive into town where you’ll find plenty of great takeaways etc, homemade short bread left by host delicious, this cottage has everything from Netflix to tea & coffee. The place to go to unwind. Great local walks. just book it. We’ll be back

Positive: The location was great even in cold winter. The furniture was new and the wooden stove superb. 9 out of 9 for me

Negative: Shower could be a bit bigger than it is now. If they turn the bath into a walking shower it would be perfect and 10 out of 10.

Positive: lovely scenic views perfect for taking loved pets to have a relaxing time. The Old Byre itself is a lovely property and is very welcoming and warm. We came with my grandmother as a birthday treat and thoroughly enjoyed it- highly recommend- thank you ! 😊

Positive: Clean , warm cosy and friendly hosts , with plenty of information , we had nice home made short bread it was lovely and quiet

Negative: It stated dogs free of charge in the book when we got there but I had to pay £30 , no dog treats as we normally find at stays , our dog made no mess . We took our own towel to clean her . Maybe a dog waste bin also would be a good idea.
