Positive: Beautiful place with a very nice view of Lake Superior! Easy access to the property with your own parking space. Easy walk to downtown and Canal Park area. Will definitely stay here again.

Negative: We'd suggest a larger floor mat by the front door for boots/shoes during the winter months. There's a small mat at the door to wipe your shoes when entering, but not much room to take off boots, etc. without getting slush all over the very nice floor.

Summary: Very nice place! It's not cheap, but for the area it's worth the price. Highly recommend!

Positive: Our rental unit (Thor) was a lovely, spacious apartment, overlooking Lake Superior--the views were amazing. The apartment was furnished and decorated nicely, very comfortable for two people, and well-equipped with pretty much everything you might want in a short-term apartment rental. We mainly used the kitchen for breakfast and tea, but the kitchen was better set up for cooking than many rentals. There's also a washer/dryer, which we didn't need, but might be useful under some circumstances. The location is convenient to downtown attractions, on the northeast side, but not in the middle of the Canal Park bustle so there's more privacy and quiet. Superior Street is busy, but we didn't find it to be problematic.

Summary: We had a great long weekend at the Njord and really enjoyed the spectacular lake views.
