Negative: Bed super comfortable but need to offer a pillow menu. The current pillows are awful.

Summary: Loved it. Crazy prices in height of summer so would only return out of season.

Positive: Lovely room and excellent facilities just a shame about the weather as would have liked to use the outside pool

Negative: Having to pay for parking at the hotel considering paying £580 for the room.

Positive: Loved the decor, spa was lovely and me made most of the gym. The room itself was lovely, very spacious and the rum was a nice touch. Food for dinner was very good. Heated outdoor pool is very special. Beds were very comfy and lovely crisp linen.

Negative: The annex was in the car park, I would have spent a bit more knowing it wasn’t part of the hotel itself. I wouldn’t have minded so much if the weather hadn’t been bad and having to bring umberellas in and out of the hotel just wasn’t ideal. We paid £300 for this room which I think was too much for the location. Staff were very slow to serve and genuinely felt forgotten about at times when at the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was expensive and not much to be desired, we opted for the cooked breakfasts, I ordered pancakes and it literally was just pancakes with a few berries. My husbands eggs Benedict wasn’t anything special. Outdoor pool could have done with places to change near the pool.

Summary: Lovely hotel but not worth the money for the hype.
