Positive: The staff tried their best to be hospitable and accommodating. Food was great: arrozcaldo and grilled cheese sandwich with bacon jam.

Negative: The room flooring looks dirty, the hand and face towels too are worn out, linens looked stained. No TV, only movies in usb. The room has no window/s. Water flow is weak in the shower and the shower drain was clogged. When you want to order food, you need to go upstairs. Complimentary water is requsted too at the reception area. Parking area is at the back of the building. I know that this is just a bed and breakfast place but I think there’s a better way to make the guests enjoy their stay, if they have at least met the basics of the place. I would have chosen an AirBnB instead, at the same price, if I had known that this is what we’ll have.

Summary: Food’s great but will not come back, unless they make improvements

Positive: Loved the coffee barako and the views. Location is superbe, right in the center with an overview on Lake Taal.

Negative: We had an 'internal' room, without a view. It was therefore quite dark and you didnt know wether is was day or night.

Positive: The Nest met all our needs. The rooms are simple but comfortable and all our basic needs were met. The quaint cafe had a simple menu but the food was good, atmosphere was cozy. Best of all the staff was very friendly and quick to respond.

Negative: The steep stairs from our bedroom but it could not be avoided.

Summary: Simple but sweet. Responsible and friendly staff. Met all our basic needs. Good value for money.
