Summary:
Our cottage is in the center of Oamaru. 5 to 10 minute walk to almost everything including the Victorian Historic Precinct and Steampunk H.Q, bars, supermarket, pharmacy, retail shops, and cafes, . The Nest a is light, airy, artful space. It feels like a cabin in the city. Functional and beautiful with simple, approachable facilities. An oasis from the outside world. Indoor and outdoor dining. A very special retreat for a cosy, memorable getaway in a fascinating and culturally rich town.
The Space:
You enter into the the lounge with open fireplace, the master bedroom is directly off the lounge. you can watch the open fire from the master bed. The home has a very open floor plan. At the other end of the house is the bathroom, this is a shared space with our quiet and very respectful tenant. He uses the bathroom sparingly, every second morning at most, and once a week does his laundry. He has a separate entrance, it's unlikely you will even see him.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the front yard and side patio off the kitchen. Behind the house is reserved for our long term renter. The entire inside of the house is free to enjoy. The renter is very respectable and a private person. He shares the shower room and the toilet every second day between 7.30 and 8am.
Other Things to Note:
There is a cat that lives on the property. He is fed outside and you can let him in the house if you would like though he is fine to be outside. Please don't feed him.
