A quiet, peaceful apartment perfectly located to explore Mid Coast Maine. Just outside of the town of Searsport and 10 minutes from Belfast (voted best small town in Maine). 30 minutes from Camden and an hour from Acadia National Park. Our own Moose Point State Park is 1/2 a mile away from the apartment and you can rent kayaks at the campground just across the road.
Searsport has wonderful local restaurants (some with live music), our own micro-brewery. and a nearby lobster pound (restaurant) overlooking Belfast Harbor. The town is also home to a fascinating marine museum!
PLEASE NOTE: The Nest is a second-floor apartment accessed by a flight of outdoor stairs. It is not suitable for young children or those with mobility issues.

Summary: This cute apartment right on the main coastal highway is in a great location (6 miles from Belfast, ~20 miles from Camden, etc) for exploring all Maine has to offer. The size is perfect for one or two people to be very comfortable in a "home away from home." For longer stays (I stayed 2 weeks), there is a laundromat about 5 miles away that is large, clean and very efficient.
