Positive: This place is heaven if you are a bird watcher. We spotted so many rare birds and it was the best day for my wife and I. We spent all day looking for birds and we spotted so many plum-headed parakeets, shrikes, fly catchers, spotted doves, orioles, owls, vernal hanging parrots and many more. The service was too welcoming and I wish I could spend more days there. I highly recommend this place if you want to simply relax and enjoy some nice food. My only feedback would be to be clear on the description on night Safari, that was the only disappointing experience. We assumed they would take us in the forest patch or at least some isolated place but never knew we would be stuck in traffic. We were literally on the road to tamilnadu,which I myself would taken my car and the cost for this is 4000 for 2 people.apart from this everything else was perfect

Positive: Everything about Mudhouse is perfection. A magical place focused on sustainability. All detail is thought through with care and love. The staff are magnificent - warm, open and kind. The food is delicious. The spa treatments are heaven. the environment feels nurturing and generous. The owner Deepak and his family have created a paradise in a beautiful landscape. Too many adjectives I know but it’s true. Thank you Ambily and your great team for taking such good care of us. We loved it and appreciate what a special place it is.

Positive: This stay was an absolute highlight of my trip to India. More than just a place to sleep, it was a genuine treat for the soul, especially during the monsoon season. The symphony of sounds at night was incredible, so vibrant I could have sworn the frogs were right beside me! Waking up to a stunning view of staff harvesting fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden for that day's lunch was a beautiful touch. The food was delicious: fresh, vegetarian, and served with a smile. I deeply appreciated their commitment to sustainability, from the glass-bottled filtered water (no plastic in sight!) to their overall ethos. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their genuine kindness and constant smiles were a clear reflection of a happy and content team. A truly special and conscious place.

Positive: We had such a wonderful stay at The Mudhouse! Ambili, Deepak and all of the staff were so warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The kitchen staff cooked the most delicious traditional meals, which were always served up with the biggest smiles! Our hut was clean and beautifully decorated, with an amazing outdoor shower and a peaceful veranda out front. The location is truly spectacular and was the perfect spot to rest and unwind. We particularly enjoyed walking to the river, cycling around the local area and spotting wildlife! We also thoroughly enjoyed treatments in the spa and morning yoga. We highly (highly) recommend staying at The Mudhouse!
