Positive: Beautiful location, fabulous pool and room Anna, Paula and Lucretia were absolutely fabulous

Negative: They are understaffed in the morning during breakfast hours as only one staff member doing service and covering the desk. Need two staff on at all times during the day The concierge service using WhatsApp wasn’t working well, as only one staff member on-site to action requests. I’d suggest a stocked bar in each room so that guests can easily access beer, wine and snacks

Summary: Aside from the staffing issue, everything else was perfect

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this property and truly enjoyed everything about it. The rooms were modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The garden area was beautiful, with comfortable sun loungers and a lovely swimming pool — perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of food, so there was something for everyone. I would also like to especially praise the receptionist, who was extremely helpful and assisted us with everything we needed during our stay. Her kindness and professionalism made our experience even better. We also really loved Monteleone d'Orvieto itself — a charming and peaceful place without crowds, perfect for a relaxing vacation and enjoying the authentic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly come back again!

Positive: The place was quite peaceful and new. It was easy to get there by car and the nearby villages were convenient to visit.

Negative: We stayed in a separate building in the courtyard called the “Deluxe Serra.” Unfortunately, the room was not very clean. After housekeeping, we found things such as a toenail and a used cotton swab on the floor. There were also cobwebs on the ceiling and on the furniture. The bed was extremely poor for a four-star hotel. The bed frame itself creaked badly, and the bed was also broken. In addition, the toilet flush buttons kept getting stuck. The courtyard building contained two separate hotel rooms, but unfortunately there seemed to be no sound insulation between them at all, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. We were also quite surprised that the lawn area had not been cut. The long grass made the outdoor areas feel less well maintained and may increase the risk of tick bites, even though the tick situation in Umbria is not generally alarming. The breakfast options were limited, there were fresh berries for example.

Negative: Only a few small recommendations - to get a phone and safe in the rooms and to trim the grass a bit more in the private seating area that comes with the garden suite
