Summary: We mistakenly booked an accessible room. This was not clear on the booking. The room itself stank of damp and had damp patches on the ceiling. When we told the hotel they sent a cleaner with a small bottle of cleaning spray which was never going to do anything.

Summary: Hotel location is superb. Located right next to train station and 5 min stroll to the centers attractions. Hotel reception, foyer, bars and restaurants are beautiful. Superb pool, sauna, steam room and hottub We didnt use the restaurant's in the hotel but the bars are superb and priced reasonably. Staff were friendly throughout. The room was spacious enough with comfy bed. The bathroom was a bit tired and could do with a revamp. Sadly the room was quite dusty behind and on top of the cabinets in the room. The fridge was noisy and we had to turn it off overnight. Overall, we would stay at the Milner again in the future.

Summary: Our sray at the milner in york was one of our more memorable stays. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and not just the building but the staff themselves. Every single member of staff was extremely helpfull and friendly.

Summary: Sent an email to tell the management of my disappointment. Room was shocking. Tiny box room compared to what is shown on the website. I spent a lot of money to stay for two nights. Service was dreadful. I shall not be staying there again.

Summary: Mediocre, rooms could do with an update along with amenities. My husband checked out and was charged for the room (which is already paid for when booking) took me half an hour to sort out over the phones yesterday, still not refunded, no gesture of good will. Overall pretty poor service

Summary: The main areas of the Milner Hotel, namely the garden room and Peachy’s are beautiful, clean and well maintained.The staff are excellent; very attentive, welcoming and helpful. The only area of great disappointment was the rooms. Having been moved room due to the cleanliness and cramped nature of the first room, I was disappointed that the second room was not much better. Even though it was larger, faults were numerous. Beds that rolled away, pillows with no padding, window that wouldn’t stay shut, room safe that didn't work and shower that didn't drain properly to name some. Having paid for a superior room, i would have expected a far higher standard, especially for the price.
