Summary: Staff excellent from check to departure. Arrived early so went to reception just expecting to register the car park but room was ready which was a bonus. Great meal in peacheys in the evening followed by a quality breakfast the following morning.

Summary: Stunning building with imposing staircases and plenty of space, never feeling crowded. Staff were professional and friendly. Rooms were well appointed and bathrooms stylish and spacious.

Summary: Rooms nice and clean, hotel lounge and bar were absolutely spectacular, also a perfect location for exploring York city centre. What really makes this hotel though is the staff, they are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble, big thank you to Patrick who looked after us in Peacy’ bar and grill for dinner and also Laura on reception for being amazing and making us feel very special, thankyou Team Milner, hope to see you again soon.

Summary: Room was a perfect temperature, nice towels and bedding. The tv was well positioned and the water was hot at all times Breakfast was good but some foods could have been a little warmer but that’s often the challenge for buffet service. The range and availability was great though. The lounge and bar are was very well run by professional and friendly staff who definitely know how to deliver great customer service. Drinks and food were all up to the required standard. The reception team were also very helpful and friendly providing good information and a smooth experience
