Summary: Really nice hotel with impressive communal areas. Pool is quite small with a bit of a strange atmosphere! Overall really enjoyed our stay though.

Summary: The Hotel is badly let down by the Bar, the staff are slow , do not know how to work the TV and difficult. It’s a shame as the staff across the rest of the Hotel are friendly and helpful.

Summary: The hotel's main building is a beautiful example of mid 19th century railway hotel architecture and design. The main reception hall and grand staircase are superb. The air conditioning was first-class. And that's about it. The accessible room was 300 steps from reception including two lifts and a long rising incline passageway. It was 500 steps from the bar and restaurant. The bar was devoid of atmosphere and Peachey's looked uninspiring. The accessible room was poorly planned. No full side of bed available for getting in and out of bed. No stand for suitcase. Although there is a kettle there is no accessible surface on which to place it near an electrical socket. We had to use the floor! The bathroom was clean and spacious the shower did not function correctly. Not to mention the cost of car parking which is not included in the room rate. A disappointing 2 night stay.

Summary: Clean room, helpful staff, lovely bar and spa, lovely air con. Only couple of problems, one is need more plug sockets only 4 sockets which one had lamp plugged and the other for kettle. Had to move table to put kettle on near to a plug socket, table was heavy to move. Also stopped in disable room, the room was a distant away from main entrance which, I can't walk very far so wasn't very disabled friendly.
