Positive: It's very quiet, staff are very friendly and the cookies at the reception are the best!

Negative: No elevator, so for a woman traveling alone with heavy suitcases it was not ideal. I was on 3rd floor.

Positive: This is an absolutely stunning hotel - blending heritage and design effortlessly. The check-in process is super easy. The breakfast options are simple but healthy. A super useful kitchenette allows guests to grab snacks, cookies and filtered water.

Negative: I was expecting a functioning bar but this is only a minor quibble. Salem has plenty of bars and restaurants to grab a drink from.

Positive: The location is perfect. It is a beautiful combination of bed and breakfast with luxury hotel. Soaking tub, separate shower, heated bathroom floor, gas fireplace in my room. There is coffee and tea out at all times, breakfast, snacks, and chocolate chip cookies at night. And selfishly, I like that the hotel is secure, so people that are not staying there cannot wander in and out.

Negative: Nothing, I loved the entire stay. If I’m being petty, after walking all day an elevator would have been nice! But I also loved that there is not one, it keeps the property quiet.
