Positive: Location excellent. Breakfast OK but very expensive at £50
Negative: We've noticed standards of quality slipping over the last 2-3 years we have been visiting. Nothing major, but the Lygon customer offering bo longer has that premium feel. The building character and location are still as gorgeous as ever but the staff professionalism has deteriorated. Examples arw tables incorrectly set, inconsistent food quality, front of house staff chatting in front of guests, allowing customers to have video conferences on laptops at breakfast ( who wants to listen to that?!). All small issues but they affect the ambience and customer experience.
Summary: Adequate, but no geels special so we'll be looking elsewhere.

Summary: An idyllic hotel.
