Positive: I loved everything about the apartment. The apartment is huge, by any standards (but especially for Venice). It is very well restored, to the highest standards with excellent security. The building is also beautiful, clean and inviting. The apartment is incredibly well decorated making it an absolute pleasure to spend time there. Waking up there every morning was delightful. The view of the beautiful Church and square was magnificent. The security of both the building and the apartment is very good and truly comforting. We loved the ease of the commute. For arrival we used a private water taxi 150 euros for the whole boat and for departure we used the Alilaguna direct express ferry to the airport 18 euros per person (takes 50 minutes). All the boats stop at San Silvestro and from there its a direct walk (no bridges at all ) for 5 minutes max. The Apartment is incredibly well located in the centre of Venice a few meters from the Rialto Bridge from there you can chose to explore the area toward San Marco or the area towards the main station - both equally good for shopping. We loved to visit San Polo - very authentic, good food and less crowded. It is probably one of the best logistical starting points as you are manageably close to everything. There is a good super market within a minute's walk and we highly recommend the wine bar in the same street - simply exceptional. I am an annual visitor to Venice and have visited over 35 times. This apartment is an exceptional choice if you seek a good rest, excellent location, beautiful surroundings, space, peace of mind, flexibility and comfort. We stayed for one week and we were three people and it was a breeze.

Negative: There is simply nothing I would change. Everything was perfect.

Positive: It was beautiful, very comfortable, spacious and well furnished. Great location was a five minute walk from Rialto bridge but in a quiet, charming campo so it never seemed noisy or crowded. Right on a vaparetto stop - San Silvestro that took us everywhere if we didn’t feel like walking (Venice is pretty small and walkable). The host was wonderfully helpful and responsive. Sarah even provided a great video guide for the walk from the vaparetto stop to the flat! This is one of our best BnB type experiences. Highly recommend. When you arrive: If you can, use the San Silvestro vaparetto stop rather than Rialto mercante - it’s much nearer with no stairs if you have suitcases with you .

Summary: It felt like good friends gave us the keys to their elegant and comfortable apartment in the heart of Venice.

Positive: Brilliant location in the heart of Venice. Great size rooms and lovely decor. Sara couldn't have been more helpful, sending info about travel options when we had a diverted flight arriving. Definitely recommend.

Negative: Very little, however the pillows didn't suit me!

Positive: Perfect location, close to everything in Venice but quiet. Nice apartment, nice shower. Sara, the host, is prompt and attentive. Smart tv, so could watch Netflix. Rooms are a decent size.

Negative: Need to dispose of your own rubbish, which was challenging as the bins in the shared area were pretty full.
