Summary: The Loubird Inn is a pure slice of heaven! I stayed in the Sunrise guest cabin and it was perfect. The absolute best sleep I had on my entire vacation. The room was carefully appointed with everything you could possibly need, with a vaulted ceiling spa like feel and sported a covered front porch replete with table and chairs as well as a full sized deck with table and chairs right off the double doors. The local art displayed in the room were perfect. This is not your typical hotel room. What I enjoyed the most however was the path to the cabin I stayed in. Chock full of blooming flowers buzzing with bees, the landscaping was lunch and idyllic. Just not enough words to describe the pure perfection of this place.

Summary: The Loubird Inn is described as the "premium boutique inn" in Escalante, which we felt was not an accurate description. First, there was no one there to check us in at 4 pm -- we were not told about this beforehand. Second, all communication is by phone and only until 5 pm. It's like an Airbnb, not an inn. Third, the bathroom needs renovation as toilet got clogged. Garden and outdoor area is lovely and there are some amenities, hence the "average" rating.

Summary: Such a charming, cozy inn that has everything you need and more in an ideal location between Capital Reef and Bryce. Escalante has so much to offer without the crowds. The Loubird is the best place in town.
